A Coming of Age Birthday Session in Downtown Charlotte

Zee is my daughter’s best friend. She’s also my “other daughter”. I don’t think she’s ever called me anything but “Mom”. She’s the sweetest teenage girl I’ve ever met. And yes, I have a teenage girl. Zee is just a really good kid. Kind, polite, quiet…yet has her own style and flair…and when the two girls get together, it’s like looking at a Seventeen Magazine!

Speaking of Seventeen Magazine, Zee came to me a few weeks ago and said “Mom, could we do a photo shoot for my birthday?”. She just turned 17 and has never had a photo shoot so she wanted to get dolled up and go make some gorgeous images of herself for her and her mom to cherish for life. So that’s just what we did!
