Adventurous Couple's Session at Black Balsam | Lauren and Bryce

When a fellow photographer reached out to me about capturing her and her boyfriend’s “half-aversary” celebration trip to the NC Mountains, I was 100% game. I absolutely LOVE getting to make beautiful images for other light chasers and memory capturers. And we all know how much I love the mountains.

Lauren and Bryce and I met up near the entrance to what we all assume is the beautiful Black Balsam Knob, famed for it’s amazing overlooks. But we never actually found the right trail, so we decided to make do with the beauty that surrounded us and I can’t say that either of us were disappointed.

Lauren blessed me with such beautiful words upon receiving her images. I believe she called me a “true artist” and I can’t say that I’ve received a better compliment in all my life.
