Surprise Proposal at Home in Charlotte

Garrett called me super excited about proposing to his girlfriend Ashley. He had it all planned out and had even gone so far as to fly the parents in for the joyous occasion! I absolutely LOVE when people put in this kind of effort for the one they love!! (Secretly hoping my husband reads this blog haha)

Garrett asked if I could set up shop outside of his girlfriend’s condo and wait for him to come outside and pop the question. No problem.

Well, I pulled up, hoping to have somewhere to kind of be discreet, but there weren’t a lot of options. So I managed to go talk my way into hanging out with a neighbor and her kids while they played in the yard. I tried to make myself look like a normal part of the neighborhood as I stalked Ashley’s condo, waiting for them to come out. Once they did, Garrett wasted no time, dropped to one knee and asked Ashley to be his wife. Her reaction was absolutely priceless!! (Check out their adorable pup watching from the window! She wanted to be involved too! And have a laugh at the fact that we literally had to recreate the knee drop for the parents. They were two minutes too late!)
