A Stylish Wedding at Brakefield at Riverwalk
/I was literally honored to be asked to photograph Venah and Louis’ wedding.
First of all, Venah is a friend of mine. I met her while we were both bartending at a nightclub (in my former life) and we hit it off immediately. Fast forward a few years and I ran into her sister who happens to be one of the most talented photographers I know. Avonne and I quickly became close friends and now I consider their family more like family of my own than friends.
So when I was asked to photograph this wedding, my heart jumped with joy.
The ladies had a ball getting ready together. There was tons of laughter and a lot of “yaaaaaasssss”. Once Venah was dressed, she shared a sweet moment with her dad as he came to see her before she walked down the aisle. It made my heart melt!
Louis and his guys, including the little man, got dressed to the nines and spent some time chatting it up. I even overheard him brag to his boys that his fiance had put her own effort into all the decorations. He was pointing them out proudly.
An emotional ceremony had us all in our feels but the reception was nothing less than a full on party. Even the kids rocked the dance floor. The food…oh my gosh, the food, prepared by Venah’s mom and catered by Pulse Catering, was absolutely delicious and there were options for everyone, including us vegetarians!
I need you to tune on into this beautiful wedding…and check out some highlights below. And go check out the following vendors who played a huge role in making this day what it was.
