Uptown Elopement In Charlotte, NC

ABrea and Will showed up and showed OUT for their courthouse elopement back in May of this year. I love elopements like this for a couple reasons….

First, it really says something about a couple who wants nothing more than to be together…that they are willing to forego what their family and friends expect so they can have what they want. I love that. Tradition is a beautiful thing but so is doing what the heck we want, ya know?

Second, it’s exciting for me, as a photographer, to have no idea who I’m showing up to photograph. Especially when it’s a courthouse wedding because I legit have to “anticipate” the right couple coming out. I’ve even taken a shot of the wrong couple walking out before…but I’ve never MISSED a couple. If anything, an extra couple got an awesome pic ;)

Anyhoo…such was the case when I showed up to ABrea and Will’s Elopement…I was blown away by their style, their love for each other and their amazing smiles. Check out some of my fav’s from their super cute elopement…
