Family Fun in the NC Mountains

Alex and Austin had to WORK to get some smiles out of their adorable tot, Avery.

Avery is the cutest, sweetest kid, but as luck would have it, he wasn’t feeling well on the morning of their session. That meant we all had to work a bit harder to keep his smile from running away and to keep him interested. I may gasped “Oh my gosh is that a deer??” to get him to look my way and it worked!! Bring me your tired, sick kiddos yearning to smile and I’ll take care of it :) The funniest part? It was the VERY last photo I took that he finally looked up and said “Cheese!” which made all of us crack up laughing.

Alex, Austin, Avery and I met in Lake Lure during their family vacation where we snagged an entire extended family session, but I had to make some time to get this adorable little family some photos of their own. We even made sure that Avery got passed around with all the family so Alex and Austin could have a few minutes to themselves. It was worth it because goodness they looked AMAZING.
