LGBT Elopement at Midtown Park
/I got a phone call on a Sunday morning but unfortunately missed it. Then I got a notification in a group that I'm in that two lovely ladies were on a frantic search for a last minute photographer for their Midtown Park elopement. Unfortunately, I already had something scheduled that afternoon and I try my best not to schedule back to back events so that I can give my full attention to each client.
I was driving into town, quite a bit early so I could grab some lunch before my session and something told me to call these ladies back. So I did. I asked if they got their wedding covered and they said no. So I decided to forego lunch and offer to show up and help them out. I didn't even send them an invoice until after they were a married couple! I just knew that I couldn't leave them hanging with no one to capture their once in a lifetime moments.
I'm so glad I was able to do so. These amazing ladies tied the knot amongst their parents with the Charlotte Skyline in the background and the sun shining on their sweet faces. It was such an honor to witness and bless these beautiful souls with such gorgeous photos. We only had an hour but we made the absolute most of it!
