Family Focused Wedding at Separk Mansion
/Karen and Dan held one of the most emotive ceremonies of the year, in my opinion.
Maybe it was the extra outpour of love from their families. Maybe it was the excitement and acceptance from Dan’s two daughters. Maybe it was Karen’s natural comfort in her new husband’s presence.
I can’t quite pinpoint what made this wedding different, but somehow, some way, there was a very special energy during the entire day.
I didn’t even meet Karen and Dan until their wedding day. We chatted on the phone and emailed back and forth but they opted out of an engagement session, which is normally my chance to get to know and vibe with my clients. I crave that time so that we can all get comfortable in front of the camera and I can kind of “train” couples how to relax in front of the camera, so that we can pull out their true emotions.
Somehow, Karen and Dan needed no training at all. These two melt together in each other’s arms. Their love story tells itself in their eyes. Every image captured of these two oozed with love and romance.
Their wedding day at one of my favorite venues, Separk Mansion, was perfect. From the classic florals and beautiful woodsy green bridesmaids dresses to the gorgeous TWO wedding cakes (Karen had a specific request and went for it!) and two daughters…this wedding tells one of the truest stories of love to date. Take a look through and try not to become a hopeless romantic!
