Catie and Kyle are some of my favorite people ever. Their quirky, intelligent, creative nature is right up my alley. I absolutely enjoy spending time with them. It doesn't feel like I'm working at all. It feels like I'm hanging out with friends, taking pictures or talking wedding. Which is totally awesome.

Catie and Kyle both reside in Charleston, SC. One of my favorite cities, which I actually just got introduced to a couple years ago. Their wedding will take place next month at Glencairn Gardens in Rock Hill, SC. We planned on shooting their engagement session here in Charlotte, but it rained all day long and even though they had driven up here, we decided it just wasn't the right day for it. We didn't want to shoot an entire session indoors. Catie really wanted some greenery. So I offered to drive down to Charleston, because why would I not want to go spend a day there??

We went to lunch, we went for coffee, we went for beer...it was great. We had a ball. Shooting the whole time. We even pulled out their furry friends, Kiwi and Bacon, their pet rats, for some fun in front of the camera. Some of my favorites from the day are below. Enjoy!
